Creative Lab Series (Entering Grades 7–9)
A 5-Week Studio Experience for Emerging Artists
This isn’t your typical art class.
The Creative Lab Series is designed for students entering grades 7–9 who want to go beyond step-by-step projects and start creating artwork that reflects their own ideas, style, and voice.
Over 5 weeks, students will explore new techniques, experiment with materials, and develop more advanced pieces in a relaxed, studio-style environment.
What to Expect
Each session includes:
Multi-step, more advanced art projects
Skill-building in areas like composition, color, and design
Exploration of mixed media and creative techniques
Opportunities to make independent artistic choices
Supportive feedback and group discussion
Students are encouraged to take creative risks, try new approaches, and develop artwork that feels personal—not just follow instructions.
